Down Deep

a summer rain
a giggle in your sleep

crying, the good kind

the smell of coffee
the first sip

breaking the last of anything
in two
giving away the bigger piece

the end of a good book
the beginning of it

you,
me,
you,
me

tumble,
taste,
tumble,
taste

mango
tangerine
soil
sand
roots

  3. Wonderful!!! and, yes, so down deep: a beautiful piece. Love your writing (to say nothing of your gracious support of mine, over these years) and left a brief message in response to your congrats on my blog. Smiles.

  7. what a wonderful tumble pictured here. it would be quite easy to get lost in each of these tiny moments...especially when there is someone there to share it with.
