my whole life long

threading moonlight

through my veins

 

us—

blushing strawberry,

palm-damp,

the first long kiss of summer,

electric-sweet,

 

buzzsoft cricket symphony,

ostinato, silvery

smooth-ending

the longest day worth waiting for
