Falling - A Set of Haiku

old country road
blanket of pine needles
your cheeks ruddy

-------------------

my cold hand
in yours
warm

-------------------

smoke rising
flames bursting
scent of leaves

-------------------

sweeping over
shades of dusk
black crow moon

-------------------

cattle lowing
a song
for autumn

-------------------

cider
cinnamon swizzle stick
hints on my lips

-------------------

crème brûlée,
and the salt in your kiss
delicious

-------------------

WOW! I love all of these bits of life. I want to live like this. Wonderfully written, seductive, sensual, realistic, with aroma, sights, sounds and seasonal delight.

Peace

Wow!
The richness of these is breath-taking. particularly liked "old country road...", "Cattle lowing..." and the delicious sensuality of "crème brûlée..." (both the haiku and the dessert actually ;-)
