"Ghost pirate ship sails" brought a big grin to my face! Wonderful haiku!
Lovely... these images of your haiku takes me on a long forgotten journey...
Oh I do love ghost pirate ships!!
No ghosts here. I've seen many a sitka spruce mast as a Pirate in a former life. I love this Haiku, and the p[hoto is fantastic too!Peace
Very magical and mystical haiku ~ Wonderful! ~ (A Creative Harbor aka ArtMuseDog and Carol ^_^)

Very evocative. Sitka spruce, ghost ships. I love seeing beyond what I'm seeing and what I'm reading and you did that magic for me. Happy new year.
your haiku evokes lazy afternoon dreams.
I love it when a haiku makes me think...and yours did it!Wonderful!
I love the idea of pirate ship sailing ~
Thanks so much Fran, I really appreciate your comment! A very happy new year to you as well.
ooh...a lazy afternoon dream sounds nice right now...hope yours are all good ones :-)
Thanks Dawn, your comments always encourage me--a wonderful new year to you! :-)
There is something ethereal about it to me...thanks Grace, hope you are enjoying your new year.
I am frequently sent running to Google to find images of things I've never seen before or, perhaps, to define an unfamiliar word. This time it was the Sitka Spruce. What a lovely evergreen. The color is gorgeous.
I do the same...glad you enjoyed the discovery!
you surprised me with the last line... just loved it.. wonderful haiku..
This is so beautiful, jennifer. Amazing haiku.
Thanks for commenting on it deepak :)
