How we love to emulate the graceful swayings of the trees and flowers. It gives that feeling of being carefree with no inhibitions or restrictions. Beautiful write,Jennifer!
Your ending makes me wonder at her ponderings ... what made her change her mind, if but only for a moment she wanted to exchange lives? Perhaps she began to consider other ways in which she could contribute her own song.
You have an interesting take on my piece. I was writing about witnessing something lovely and just enjoying it—getting caught up in the simple beauty of a moment that lifts your heart. Not so much that she reconsidered what she may contribute…an interesting angle your thoughts took! Thanks for coming by—and that you found something you enjoyed!
I love your view! I love the glimpse of beauty and the wonder of recapturing our youth. Longing to start again and perhaps hear another song~ Middle notes do this... ;D I had to add a perfume(note) to my response~
Your poem whisper how I feel...stuck in the middle and wonder did I miss out? Well Done

You mean I'm not the only one that wonders sometimes--did I miss out? Or that-- I know I did, so now what...go for it and try to make up for lost time?
